A three-day performance — an emergent simulation of creation unfolding on 9 m² of mirrored ground on the roof of the Moscow Youth Palace, a building of unfulfilled hopes.
At its centre is the building of a “fortress” from fragments of broken brick, a metaphor for the collapse of utopias. The artist turned a patch of the roof into a behavioural laboratory and took on the role of a “constant of creation”: every day she rebuilt the structure and painted the joints of the masonry with chrome paint — an attempt to find an architectural form of resilience on a monument to unrealised futures.
In 2026 the work was shown at the III Swamp Biennale and received the “Aluminium Reed” Prize.
Viewers became co-authors through four protocols of interaction
